"Wifi was decent, but the drops got frustrating"
I stayed at an OYO for 2 nights, and the wifi was just okay. In the mornings it worked fine enough for basic browsing and watching short videos, so at first I thought it would be manageable.
But at night, it kept cutting out randomly, which got annoying since I had some work to finish. It wasn’t completely unusable, but the unstable connection definitely stood out more than the decent speed

I had a small issue with my booking, so I reached out to support expecting the usual long wait and back-and-forth. To my surprise, the OYO team replied within a few minutes and sorted it out without making things complicated. It felt good to see a company handle a problem fairly and take responsibility instead of passing it around. Smooth experience and genuinely helpful support.

"Unexpected charges after the fact"
I thought everything was straightforward at first, and from the way it was presented, I assumed the price I was seeing was the final amount. Then extra charges showed up later, which was frustrating. Maybe I missed something in the fine print, but the overall tone made it seem like there wouldn’t be any surprises

"Check-in took longer than expected"
Booked through OYO and got to the hotel sometime in the evening. My booking was showing on the app, but for some reason the front desk still took a while to confirm it. Not sure if it was a system issue or something else, but I ended up waiting around 25-30 minutes, which was annoying after traveling. The staff wasn’t rude or anything, just seemed a bit confused and slow. Once I got the room, it was pretty much what I expected, so the stay itself wasn’t bad. They just really need to make the check-in process smoother.

"Hot water was kinda hit or miss"
The room was okay overall, nothing too bad, but the hot water wasn’t always there. In the morning it worked fine, but at night it was mostly cold, which was annoying. Not the worst stay or anything, just expected a bit better when booking.

"Too hit or miss for me"
I’ve booked with Oyo a few times now, and it’s been really inconsistent. One stay will be totally fine, then the next time the staff seem confused, the room isn’t ready, or something just feels off. Not saying it’s a scam, but it does make it hard to trust what you’re going to get. The prices are decent, but the lack of consistency is frustrating.

I always get a little nervous booking a room based on photos, but this one really did look just like the pictures. Everything matched what I expected, and there weren’t any weird surprises when I got there, which was a relief

"Decent for the Price, But Noisy"
The room itself was okay, especially considering the price, and check-in went smoothly enough. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy since I was trying to keep costs down, but the noise was a real downside. I could hear people in the hallway and traffic outside late into the night, so I didn’t sleep very well. The staff was polite when I mentioned it, but nothing really changed. It’s fine if you just need a budget-friendly place for a short stay, but I’d probably look elsewhere if I needed a good night’s sleep.

"Pretty smooth booking experience"
I booked a room through oyorooms, and from my side, it worked out just the way I expected. The hotel was the same one shown online, the room type matched, and the price stayed the same when I checked in. I’ve had bookings before where something feels off at the last minute, but this one didn’t have any confusion or surprise charges. The confirmation also came through quickly, which made me feel a lot more relaxed about the whole thing. Overall, it was a simple and smooth experience for me

I stayed at OYO for 2 nights and, as someone who’s a bit careful about privacy when I travel, I felt comfortable here. Check-in was straightforward, and my ID details seemed to be handled properly, which I appreciated. The staff were polite, knocked before entering, and didn’t ask unnecessary personal questions. No one bothered me, and I could actually relax in the room without feeling watched or disturbed. For the price, it felt like a safe and private stay. I’d book again.

"Felt safe enough, but the hallway lighting was annoying"
Stayed at an OYO for 2 nights the safety part was mostly fine. They checked my ID at the reception, and there was a guard near the entrance, which did make me feel better. The room lock worked properly too, and I noticed CCTV in the hallway, so that was reassuring. But seriously, the corridor light was dim at night, and that was a bit irritating because it made the place feel less comfortable than it should. Overall, I felt safe enough during my stay, so I’d give it 4 stars

"Power backup wasn’t dependable"
I booked an Oyo room for just one night, mostly because I had some work nearby the next morning and didn’t want to travel too early. At first, the stay seemed fine enough, nothing fancy but manageable. Then in the evening, the power went out twice, and the staff kept saying the backup would start in a few minutes, but it took much longer than expected.
The AC and lights both went off, and the room got uncomfortable quickly, especially since it was already a warm day. I wasn’t expecting anything luxurious for the price, but I do think basic power backup should work properly in a hotel. Overall, it was not a great experience
"Easy enough to use, honestly"
I’ve used both the Oyo app and the website a few times now, i don’t really see what there is to complain about. The search is quick, the filters are straightforward, and the booking process didn’t take forever. I also liked that the price and hotel details were shown clearly before payment, because some travel sites make that way more confusing than it needs to be. For me, it was a smooth and simple experience.
